Job Summary:
Carma Connected is looking for a Public Relations Account Executive to join the team in our Miami Beach office. The Account Executive will work as part of a team and will be responsible for performing a number of high-level duties and assisting with multiple client accounts.The ideal candidate has a minimum of three years of experience in lifestyle and hospitality public relations plus impeccable writing skills, excellent client communication and outstanding existing relationships with media both locally and nationally.
Duties include, but are not limited to:
- Supporting VPs in strategy development
- Managing multiple client accounts and maintaining daily client communication
- Writing press kit documents as well as media alerts, pitch letters, bios and other materials
- Consistently pitching and securing media coverage on behalf of clients on a local, regional, and national level
- Coordinating and overseeing photoshoots, television shoots, interviews and other on-site events
- Monitoring trends and researching articles and suitable story opportunities/angles for clients
- Managing an account coordinator or junior account executive
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Public Relations, Communications, Journalism, or a related field
- Minimum three years experience in lifestyle or hospitality public relations
- Superior writing skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritize
- Strong familiarity with various media outlets
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to develop and maintain successful relationships with key media members
Compensation:

Salary : $60,000 - $70,000
