Carman Collision is looking for a friendly and knowledgeable individual to assist our valued clients with the collision repair process. This individual will be the primary point of contact for the vehicle owners and insurers. Collision repair advisor responsibilities include assessing vehicle damages, completing a thorough and accurate damage estimate and maintaining communication with all stakeholders.

Job Duties
- Review loss details and vehicle damage with vehicle owners
- Complete estimates for insurance customers, DRP accounts and for walk in customers
- Ensure all authorizations are in file
- Ensure vehicle is checked in and repair order opened
- Provide repair status updates
- Review and submit supplemental damage estimates
- Prepare and complete final invoice and paperwork prior to vehicle pick up
- Ensure all payments are made before vehicle pick up
- Upload post repair photos
- Complete final quality checks, test drive
- Deliver vehicle to customer upon completion
- Total loss handling: Complete total loss charges, upload photos, perform administrative tasks
- Other duties assigned
- Adhere to safety rules, guidelines, and standards
Skills and Requirements
- Knowledge of various estimating systems (CCC One, Mitchell, Audatex)
- Familiar with repair procedures and processes
- I-CAR certification a plus
- Strong time management, organizational and computer skills. Knowledge of smartphone applications
- Customer service focused
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- At least 18 years of age
- Possess a valid driver's license with a driving record which meets company insurance requirements
Physical Requirements and Working Conditions
Must be able to lift 50 lbs. Physical activity such as walking, reaching, kneeling, bending, squatting, and stooping to inspect vehicles and repairs. Pushing and pulling carts, vehicles as needed. Occasionally, lifting and carrying objects over 50 lbs. Visual acuity to inspect repair quality, prepare and read estimates and repair procedures. Exposure to fumes, chemicals, dust, high levels of noise. Exposure to hot and cold temperatures, various weather conditions when outdoors performing duties including inspecting and moving vehicles. Sedentary work on computer systems and telephones.
