Come join us at Carmel Manor! We are a Faith-Based, Nonprofit, Short-Term Rehabilitation and Skilled Geriatric Care facility sponsored by the Carmelite Sisters for the Aged and Infirm for over 70 years. Our mission is to treat all staff and residents with love and respect.
We are seeking to hire an Admissions/Marketing Coordinator.
$65K to $75K annually based on skills and experience.
Admissions/Marketing Coordinator Qualifications:
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Experience with Skilled Nursing Facility - SNF admissions required.
- RN – Registered Nurse or LPN – Licensed Practical Nurse preferred.
- Strength in marketing and building professional relationships.
Admissions/Marketing Coordinator Job Summary:
- Outreach to Hospitals, Physicians Offices, and other Referral Sources.
- Maintain communication with residents, families, Nursing and Administrative staff.
- Maintain accurate records of bed availability, resident census, names, and room numbers, pending discharges and bedholds.
- Interview residents and/or responsible party and records admitting information on all required forms and applications.
- Obtain all necessary admissions documents for admission prior to admission including Level 1 PASRR, Application, financial disclosure, Discharge paperwork from referring entity with admission orders, Healthcare POA, code status, Medicare/Medicaid cards/forms for signature.
- Greet the resident and resident representative and escort to resident’s room. Establish a system to ensure an appropriate welcome occurs during non-business hours.
- Explain all admission documents, the Home’s philosophy/mission, rules and policies, room rates, billing procedures, and answers all questions as well as providing an orientation to the home.
- Track all admissions and disposition on a daily basis, entering the data in the electronic tracking system and completes tracking and trending reports, identifying opportunities for improvement in QAPI and as requested.
