Responsibilities
- Plan, coordinate, and execute catering events, including banquets, weddings, corporate functions, and private parties.
- Collaborate with clients to understand their needs and preferences, providing expert advice on menu selection and event logistics.
- Manage the catering budget, ensuring all expenses align with financial goals while maximizing profitability through effective upselling strategies.
- Supervise catering staff during events, providing guidance on service standards and maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Communicate effectively with kitchen staff to ensure timely preparation and delivery of food and beverages.
- Develop contracts for catering services, ensuring all details are clearly outlined and agreed upon by both parties.
- Maintain inventory of catering supplies and equipment, placing orders as necessary to ensure readiness for upcoming events.
- Implement time management strategies to ensure efficient operation during peak periods.
