We are seeking a highly organized and dynamic Catering Manager to oversee our catering operations. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality and a strong background in banquet services. This role involves managing catering events from inception to completion, ensuring exceptional customer service and satisfaction. The Catering Manager will work closely with clients to create memorable experiences while adhering to budgetary constraints and operational guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and execute catering events, including banquets, weddings, corporate functions, and private parties.
• Collaborate with clients to understand their needs and preferences, providing expert advice on menu selection and event logistics.
• Manage the catering budget, ensuring all expenses align with financial goals while maximizing profitability through effective upselling strategies.
• Supervise catering staff during events, providing guidance on service standards and maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction.
• Communicate effectively with kitchen staff to ensure timely preparation and delivery of food and beverages.
• Develop contracts for catering services, ensuring all details are clearly outlined and agreed upon by both parties.
• Maintain inventory of catering supplies and equipment, placing orders as necessary to ensure readiness for upcoming events.
• Implement time management strategies to ensure efficient operation during peak periods.

Skills

• Strong background in banquet management and customer service within the hospitality or restaurant industry.
• Proven ability to upsell services and products effectively to enhance client experiences.

Pay: $55,000.00 - $66,000.00 per year
