Business development team members make the first impression with most customers, so only the highest level of customer service-focused individuals should apply.
This manager’s time will be spent:
- Taking/making calls alongside the team, including taking over a call to help team members improve their performance.
- Hire, train, coach, and encourage team members to make a large volume of outbound calls to set appointments with customers who have expressed an interest in business products.
As the manager of this department, you will also ensure all required reporting is completed promptly and submitted to the General Manager or other designated individuals.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Ensure the entire team provides an outstanding customer experience
Hire and staff the department to meet company goals of production while managing costs.
· Train staff to follow directions in showcasing company products and options
· Ensure all team members maintain accurate customer records
· Schedule team members to ensure peak hours have adequate coverage and all necessary hours are covered.
· Conduct call audits and coach staff based on meeting call expectations
· Meet department goals
· Create and distribute departmental-required reporting
· Attend meetings as required of department managers
· Be professional in dress and manner
QUALIFICATIONS:
· Computer skills
· Ability to prioritize effectively
· Strong organizational skills.
· Strong written and oral communication skills
· High school education or equivalent
