Corporate and Business Attorney

Carmel & Naccasha LLP, with offices in San Luis Obispo and Paso Robles, is currently seeking an experienced, innovative, California Licensed corporate and business attorney who thrives in a high-performing and collaborative environment. Key Responsibilities:

Candidates must have a minimum of 5-8 years of law firm or in-house experience in corporate governance and transactional work. An intellectual property background is a plus, but not required. The ideal candidate will be well-versed in:

Complex Business Transactions:

- Execution of acquisitions, mergers, and sales or liquidation of assets

- Advising on joint ventures and business succession planning

- Handling general corporate and board legal work

Real Estate and Leasing:

- Advising clients on real estate and land purchase matters

- Negotiating lease transactions

- Regulatory Compliance and IP

Advising on intellectual property issues

Facilitating insurance-related legal matters

Formation and dissolution of legal entities and non-profit organizations

Drafting and negotiating contracts such as leases, employment agreements, and loan modification documents

Advising on litigation and mediation of contract disputes

Qualifications:

- Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school

- Admission to the California State Bar and in good standing

- Minimum 5-8 years of relevant experience in corporate and business law

- Superior written and verbal communication skills

- Commitment to excellent client service

- Ability to work independently and collaboratively

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
