We would like to talk with you about an opportunity to work as Housekeeping/Laundry Assistant in a well respected, long term care nursing facility.
Available Shifts:
* Full-time 7AM to 3PM Days and every other weekend.
* Part-time 3 to 11 Weekends Only.
Housekeeping / Laundry Assistant Job Summary:
The Housekeeper/ Laundry Assistant works with the Director of Environmental Services to ensure timely cleaning of all of the common areas, halls, resident rooms, and laundry as assigned.
Housekeeping / Laundry Assistant Responsibilities:
- Performs cleaning procedures in accordance with facility procedures and policies
- Observes waste disposal procedures in accordance with facility policy
- Assists in the proper care and use of housekeeping equipment
- Identifies and reports any equipment malfunction
- Distributes soap, paper and other housekeeping supplies
- Assists with laundry duties
- Transports soiled laundry from resident units to main laundry
Housekeeping / Laundry Assistant Education/Experience:
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Experience in Housekeeping in long-term care is preferred.
