Purpose of Your Job Position :
Manage all human resources programs, as they are related to : Recruitment, orientation, training, retention, benefits and termination. Serves a resource and assistant to all levels of leadership within the organizations in regard to personnel practices.

Qualifications and Education Requirements :
- Bachelor of Science in Human Resources or related field
- Knowledge of state and federal wage and hour law, as well as other personnel regulations
- Minimum five (5) years of professional experience in a Human Resources related position
- Internet and computer literacy for business activities
- Fluently read, speak, write and understand English at four year college level

Duties and Responsibilities
Help in the creation of Human Resources Policies in collaboration with the Leadership of the various Organizations and under the direction of the President of MCHM / FCFCCoordinate, publish and distribute updated Employee Handbook as necessaryEnforce all policies and legal requirements in regard to personnel practices of the following entities : Santa Teresita, Mount Carmel Health Ministries, and Carmelite Sisters located at Casa Convent.Create and maintain recruitment programs specific to the distinct operational areas of the organizationsConduct all aspects of initial processing of prospective staff members including initial interview, background check and license verificationsMaintain and track monthly credentials report to ensure the timely renewal of licensure and certificationsMaintain accurate bank of Job Descriptions for each organization. Work with Payroll and Benefits Coordinator to ensure each Job is accurately graded and updated on at least an annual basisAnnual employee evaluation management including : Notifying supervisors and managers in regard to evaluation time schedule, ensuring proper evaluation tool is used, scoring and calculating performance increases on completed evaluations, completing and routing corresponding Personnel Action Form, and notification to managers and supervisors of delinquent documentationMaintain electronic tracking of training completed per schedule for each employee, issue monthly accurate reports to CEO, managers and supervisors regarding training based on position requirements and performance evaluationsServes as main point of contact with Workmans' Comp Carrier and responsible for the management and record keeping (except payroll) of all open casesResponsible for a timely notification of Payroll and Benefits Coordinator of any benefits changes (enrollment, status changes, terminations, etc.) or triggering eventsConducts initial notification to staff members on LOA and serves as the main contact; maintains accurate LOA filesMaintains I-9 files, including updates and renewalsEnsure that all human resource files, paper and electronic, are complete, accurate (i.e. without error), and updated at all timesAssist Organizations' Leadership in creating an orientation program and updating it annuallyAssist in orientation of new staff members and annual review for all staff in areas related to personnel practicesOversee the implementation of staff / manager educational and incentive opportunities in collaboration with Organizations' LeadershipPrepare reports and statistics (metrics) in a complete and accurate manner as required by Organizations' LeadershipMaintain Risk Management Claims Report and submit to designated person at each Organization on the last day of each monthServe as a resource to leadership in facilitating resolution of internal issues and conflicts, interpretation of policies and procedures or any other Human Resources related matterServe as a resource of information, when requested, to staff members in regard to personnel practices and matters (payroll and benefits questions should be referred to Payroll and Benefits Coordinator), for the reporting of grievances and oversee any related investigatory processServe as main point of contact for Human Resources consultants and legal counsel for personnel related mattersServe as point of contact and prepare responses to government and outside organizations regarding employment and personnel matters, audits, etc, with the exception of payroll or benefits reportingAttend all meetings and in-services required by this positionIs knowledge of and enforces all guidelines of handbook and policies, as well as, safety procedures established by Santa TeresitaWorking Conditions
