Job Summary
The Maintenance Technician will be responsible for inspecting, repairing, installing and servicing of stationary and mobile equipment. This includes using micrometer, dial indicators, burning and welding equipment and a broad assortment of tools to maintain equipment for production of quality products.
This role observes and monitors the equipment and reports any conditions that could lead to product nonconformity or other irregularity. The technician maintains service records, interprets manuals and blue prints, repairs and maintains machinery and mechanical electrical equipment such as motors, cables, pumps, conveyors, belts, fans, etc.
Key responsibilities include examining mechanical equipment to diagnose trouble, disassembling machines and repairing or replacing broken parts, adjusting functional parts of mechanical devices as necessary, cleaning and lubricating parts, ordering replacement parts, inspecting repairs, and performing work in accordance with safety procedures.
