Job Description
Responsibilities of the position include but are not limited to :
Directly supervise plant activities while on shiftPerforms all job duties safely and effectively and ensures crew is adhering to Company safety and environmental policiesLoad and unload various raw materials, finished goods, and lime products onto / from trucks, railway cars, or bargesOperate crusher and conveying systems to produce a quality productMust be able to measure product silos and binsPerform routine inspection and cleaning of various equipmentMust be able to read instruments, log numbers and problems into computerReports deficiencies and malfunctions to managementPerform cleaning of Hydrate and plant equipmentMust be able to remove tailingsMove materials within a warehouse or storage facility to and from the loading platform by carrying, pushing, rolling, or operating hand trucks, forklifts, hoists, motorized conveyors, or other materials handling equipmentPack finished product by bagging and palletizing by handUse heavy equipment and operate machines to complete duties or to fill in for personnel vacanciesPerform basic preventive maintenance on machines and equipmentSupports a team atmosphere with the ability to adapt to changing environmentsOther duties as assigned by managementRequired Skills
Qualified candidates will have :
High School Diploma or GED2 years supervisory experience2 years of raw material loading experience in an industrial manufacturing environmentKnowledge of mechanical equipment operation and maintenanceWilling and able to work rotating shiftsLanguage Skills :
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.Ability to speak effectively with other employees of the organization;Math Skills :
Ability to add and subtract two-digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10's and 100's.Ability to perform these operations using units of American money and weight measurement, volume and distance;Reasoning Ability :
Ability to apply commonsense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written or oral form.Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations;Physical Demands :
