Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic individual to join our team as a Loader Operator. This role involves operating front-end loaders to maintain the flow of materials and product, loading and unloading barges, and general plant cleanup. The successful candidate will gain exposure to all areas of our operations, based on business need.
Responsibilities:
- Operate front-end loaders to maintain the flow of materials and product
- Loading and unloading barges
- General plant cleanup
- Maintenance of plant operations and equipment
- Learning opportunities in various areas of operations
Requirements:
- Ability to walk/step between barges and docks on the waterway
- Tolerate exposure to dust, noise, and outdoor conditions
- Availability to work 12-hour day or evening and weekend shifts
- Use of mobile equipment
- Experience with mechanical equipment maintenance
- Passing score on entry-level qualifying exam
