Lead Content Designer Job at Carmichael Lynch in Minneapolis

We are seeking a Lead Content Designer to execute social media creative content for our largest entertainment and media client. The ideal candidate will have a sophisticated eye for design, the ability to design social content and social campaign work at an expert level independently, sharp conceptual skills, and deep pop culture knowledge to create scroll-stopping content across social platforms. This hire will work across paid social, foundational / organic social, and campaign (social, brand) social, working as the translator and executor between our client’s brand and pop culture moments.

Key Responsibilities :

• Concept Development : Lead ideation in collaboration with social strategist and production to create a high volume of on-brand and relevant content across platforms (Instagram, Twitter, TikTok, Facebook).
• Creative Content Execution : Develop and execute breakthrough social-first creative campaigns that seamlessly tie entertainment, culture, and social media trends. Design and produce high-quality static and motion content independently.
• Executional Excellence : Ensure the highest level of craft in the execution of all creative assets, from visual design to final production, paying attention to detail, quality and consistency.
• Innovation & Trends : Stay up-to-date with social / entertainment trends, industry trends, and design technology / capabilities while translating these insights into relevant brand moments.
• Brand Stewardship : Maintain and evolve the brand’s visual identity, ensuring that all creative work is aligned with the entertainment brand’s brand guidelines, social playbook, and voice while pushing creative boundaries.
• Team Leadership : Mentor junior creatives, providing feedback, direction, and support to cultivate an environment of growth and creativity.
• Client Engagement : Present work directly to clients and maintain professional client communication to understand their needs and translate feedback effectively.

The salary range for this position is listed below. Where an employee or prospective employee is paid within this range will depend on a variety of factors, including but not limited to budget, relevant experience, qualifications, and tenure in similar roles. Consideration may also be given to internal salary data for current or former employees in the same or similar positions.
