Responsibilities:
- Provide exceptional service to guests in a fine dining setting
- Take food and beverage orders accurately and efficiently
- Serve food and beverages to guests in a timely manner
- Ensure guest satisfaction by addressing any concerns or special requests
- Set up and maintain dining areas, including table setup and cleanliness
- Assist with bussing tables and resetting for the next guest
- Handle cash transactions using a cash register or POS system
- Maintain knowledge of menu items, specials, and beverage offerings
- Adhere to food safety and sanitation guidelines
Requirements:
- Previous experience in the food industry, preferably in fine dining or upscale restaurants
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks and provide efficient service
- Proficiency in using a cash register or POS system for accurate transactions
- Strong customer service skills to provide a memorable dining experience for guests
- Knowledge of basic math for handling payments and making change
- Ability to handle food safely and follow proper food handling procedures
- Familiarity with bussing tables and maintaining cleanliness in the dining area
- Understanding of food safety regulations and ability to maintain a clean and sanitary work environment
