What are the responsibilities and job description for the Institutional Slate Captain position at Carnegie Dartlet?
The Institutional Slate Captain (Slate Staff Augmentation Strategist) is responsible for assigned institution(s) contracted for a Carnegie-provided Slate Captain on an interim basis. The Institutional Slate Captain provides expert guidance and Slate expertise in all required areas of Slate. They are in charge of day-to-day operations in client Slate instances and development of as-needed projects as described by the needs of the client prior to signing with Carnegie.
We are accepting applications for full-time employment, full-time equivalent 1099, and contract-by-contract 1099 for this position.
Responsibilities:
- Serve as interim Slate Captain for client partners in need of additional support
- Act as part-time (with more than one partner institution) or full-time (with one partner institution) Slate Captain for contracted client(s)
- Fill in on day-to-day operations as specified by the client(s) in which they are serving as a temporary Slate Captain or augmentation of existing Slate staff
- Executing projects as outlined by point of contact at partner institution(s) in which they are serving as a temporary Slate Captain or augmentation of existing Slate staff
- Support Slate Expedited Implementations, Trainings and Consultations (as time allows, when not contracted for full-time Interim Slate Captain roles)
- Lead future expedited implementations.
- Conduct internal and external training on a variety of Slate topics
- Liaise with clients to determine training needs and schedule training sessions
- Assist consultation projects
- Contribute to Internal Projects (as time allows, when not contracted for full-time Interim Slate Captain roles)
- Contribute to team innovation ideation conversations, taking ownership of projects, processes, and integrations that interest them and meet the needs of the team
- Assist with project management process development to improve internal and external workflows
Qualifications:
- Thorough knowledge of Slate features, including Application, Reader, Workflows, Deliver, Events, Fields and Prompts, Queries and Reports, Rules, and Upload Dataset
- Advanced knowledge of admission processes and strategy
- Excellent organizational skills, including attention to detail, multitasking, prioritization, and decision-making
- Interpersonal skills to positively collaborate with team members and represent the company to clients
- Effective communication and time management skills for a remote work environment as well as the ability to use/learn multiple technology platforms and switch between them on a regular basis
- Must be able to work at a computer for prolonged periods
Experience
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree, or equivalent life/work experience
- Minimum of 2 years of advanced Technolutions Slate CRM experience
- Minimum of 2 years of higher education experience
