What are the responsibilities and job description for the Marketing and Communications Internship - College of Engineering position at Carnegie Mellon University?
Our dynamic team includes writers, editors, designers, and multimedia developers who share the stories of our college by translating innovative technical, scientific, and engineering-based content into written and visual stories for a more general audience.
We are looking for creative communicators to help us with a variety of writing and communications projects.
Over the course of the internship, our intern core responsibilities will include:
- Science writing features and briefs
- Alumni and student profiles
- Documentation
- Editing and proofreading
- Fundraising materials
- Social media content
- Research and benchmarking
- Other projects based on skills, abilities, and interest

You should demonstrate:
- Excellent written and oral communications skills

Qualifications/Requirements:
- High School or GED required; Associate's or Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Skills/experience with design, photography, HTML/CSS, and content management systems are a plus, but not required.
