Manufacturer in Charlotte seeking an HR Generalist!
This position will support a group of 70 people for their First Shift. The job reports to the Director of Human Resources who has a strong background in training and developing future leaders for their business.
This is a 6 month assignment that will cover for another HR Generalist who is off on a leave of absense.

Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as the first point of contact for HR-related inquiries and support across the manufacturing facility.
- Assist in full-cycle recruitment efforts including job postings, screening, interviewing, and onboarding.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and company policies.
- Maintain and update employee records in HRIS systems and personnel files.
- Support administration of benefits, FMLA, workers’ compensation, and leave of absence programs.
- Coordinate employee training and development initiatives.
- Handle employee relations matters by providing guidance and resolving issues in a fair and consistent manner.
Qualifications:
- 2–4 years of HR experience; experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment preferred.
- Solid understanding of HR laws and regulations (FLSA, FMLA, ADA, etc.).
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
