The Regional Senior Recruiter is responsible for overseeing the full cycle recruiting process for community level positions, including oversight of sourcing, reviewing, screening, interviewing, and onboarding of all candidates and new hires in the assigned Region(s). This role is also responsible for sourcing and full cycle recruiting for key vacancy positions within the assigned Region(s). The Regional Senior Recruiter plays a vital role in the analysis of reporting and metrics to identify trends, bottlenecks, and areas for improvement. This role will collaborate with Regional Operations leadership and the Director of Recruitment to identify and implement training and development opportunities for staff within the Region(s). The Regional Senior Recruiter will also assist the Regional Recruiter with the sourcing and recruiting responsibilities for community level, non-key, positions as needed.
Responsibilities
Source and recruit for a wide variety of candidates - professional, clinical, non-clinical, skilled trades, and operations
Build and maintain robust candidate pipelines
Stay knowledgeable of recruitment trends and best practices
Assist with management of agency partner relationships for support during peak periods; but reducing overall annual spend and reliance on agency partners
Ensure all screening, hiring, and selection is done in accordance with employment laws and regulations
Build and maintain collaborative relationships with hiring managers and key leadership to understand and deliver on hiring needs
Assist with management of ad sponsorship budget
Develop and maintain a culture of accountability
Conduct employment reference checks, New Hire Feedback Logs, and Exit Surveys for key vacancy positions
Complete daily, weekly, and monthly reporting on recruiting activities; analyze reporting to identify trends, bottlenecks, and areas for improvement
Develop and implement training initiatives and programs
Manage and oversee the full cycle recruitment process for communities within the assigned Region(s) - applicant to onboarding as a new hire
Maintain accurate, timely, up-to-date candidate and applicant information in recruitment systems – ATS, HRIS, etc.
Complete recruitment audits on site and remotely for all communities in the assigned Region(s)
Attend job fairs, college career events, school/college classes, online job fairs, community networking events, etc. to identify and attract quality candidates
Build and maintain relationships with schools and colleges to source candidates and promote brand/company visibility
Assist with assigning duties and responsibilities to the Regional Recruiter
Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent required
Four or more years of prior experience full cycle recruiting required; two or more years of prior experience full cycle recruiting in a long-term care environment highly preferred; experience recruiting for a variety of community level roles including Payroll, HR, Business Office, Nurses, Nurse Aides, Medication Aides/Techs, Administrators/Executive Directors, Directors and Assistant Directors of Nursing, Specialty Nurses (Wound Nurse, Infection Prevention Nurse, MDS, etc), and Support Staff (Housekeeping, Laundry, Maintenance, Activities, etc) highly preferred
Prior experience recruiting for Regional clinical and non-clinical roles highly desired; including experience recruiting for Regional Director of Operations, Regional Nurse, Regional MDS, Regional Sales & Marketing, and Regional Life Enrichment Director
Must have excellent computer skills, proficient typing skills, and the ability to navigate web-based programs with ease; proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google suites required
Demonstrated ability to lead, train, develop, and coach others
Must have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
Must have strong analytical skills and excellent organizational, multi-tasking, and time management skills
Must have the ability to work well in a team environment with a demonstrated ability to establish effective and cooperative working relationships
Strong sense of urgency, initiative, and self-motivation
Must have strong critical thinking skills and the ability to make decisions independently
Working knowledge of ATS and HRIS systems required; prior experience with iCIMS and PayCom highly preferred
Knowledge of CareerBuilder, Zip Recruiter, Indeed, and LinkedIn platforms highly preferred
Must possess knowledge of applicant screening techniques
Familiarity with a wide variety of sourcing avenues required
Must be highly flexible and able to operate in an environment of constant change
Must be able and willing to travel up to 50% of the time; ability to travel overnight required
