Carneros Resort and Spa is seeking an Executive Pastry Sous Chef to join our culinary team. Key Responsibilities :
Lead and inspire the pastry team in creating exquisite desserts, pastries, and breads that reflect our commitment to excellence.
Collaborate with the Executive Pastry Chef to design seasonal menus that align with the resort’s luxury dining experience.
Ensure consistency in presentation, flavor profiles, and quality, maintaining a seamless guest experience across all dining outlets.
Train, mentor, and develop pastry team members, fostering a positive and collaborative kitchen culture.
Uphold best practices in kitchen operations, including sanitation, food safety, and inventory management.
Work closely with other culinary and front-of-house teams to enhance guest satisfaction and exceed expectations.
Qualifications :
Minimum of 4 years of pastry experience, with at least 2 years in a leadership role within a luxury hotel, resort, or fine dining environment.
Proven ability to lead, mentor, and inspire a team in a fast-paced kitchen setting.
Excellent organizational and multitasking skills with a commitment to maintaining the highest culinary standards.
Culinary degree or equivalent professional training preferred.
