What are the responsibilities and job description for the Field Construction Supervisor position at Carney Quality Construction?

Responsibilities:
- On-Site Supervision: Manage and oversee all daily construction activities to ensure projects are completed on time and within scope.
- Subcontractor Coordination: Schedule, direct, and manage subcontractors to ensure work is performed per specifications, timelines, and quality expectations.
- Progress Tracking & Reporting: Update BuilderTrend with daily logs and job site photos to document progress and communicate with the team.
- Quality Control & Inspections: Conduct regular site inspections, ensuring compliance with project plans, specifications, and Florida building codes.
- Site Safety & Cleanliness: Enforce company safety standards, maintaining a clean and hazard-free job site.
- Material Management: Coordinate material deliveries, verify quality and quantities, and pick up materials from suppliers when needed.
- Project Scheduling: Work with the project manager to maintain an efficient job schedule and proactively address any potential delays.
- Issue Resolution: Identify and address on-site challenges, troubleshoot problems, and coordinate solutions with the project team.
- Vendor & Client Communication: Act as the primary on-site contact for subcontractors, vendors, and clients, ensuring clear communication and expectation management.
Required Knowledge & Skills:
- BuilderTrend – Experience with project management, scheduling, and daily logs.
- Gmail – Proficient in email communication for internal and external use.
- 2-3 years of experience in construction or relevant training.
- Strong people skills, ability to multi-task, and work independently.
- Excellent time management and attention to detail to meet project deadlines.
Job Types: Part-time, Contract, Commission
Pay: $52,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
