Responsibilities of the Physics Teacher :
- Be a dynamic educator with vision and patience
- Subscribe to the schools core values, mission and philosophy and seek passionately to promote them.
- Design lesson plans for 9-12 grade students.
- Evaluate each pupil’s progress in physics knowledge and skills.
- Vertically align coursework to provide students with a meaningful scope.
- Communicate with parents to interpret contemporary methods in teaching physics and with parents and school counselors to discuss the individual pupil’s progress.
- Embraces authentic assessment, innovative pedagogies, discussion-based learning and project based learning.
- Attend regular department, faculty, and other meetings.
- Promote an inclusive working and community environment.
