Carney, Sandoe & Associates, an educational recruitment firm, is currently seeking History Teachers for the 2025-2026 school year at K-12 independent schools in the San Francisco, CA area .
Responsibilities of the History Teacher :
- Develop and organize a history curriculum for the grade / s assigned that meets school standards.
- Establish standards of student performance which can be quantitatively and qualitatively evaluated.
- Develop knowledge and skills essential to effectively teach students in the grade assigned.
- Promote students' critical and creative thinking and analysis and develop lesson plans and instructional materials.
- Plan and conduct activities for a balanced program of instruction, demonstration and work time that provides students with opportunities to observe, question and investigate.
