Job Title: Middle School Spanish Teacher
We are seeking a qualified Middle School Spanish Teacher for the 2025-2026 school year at a private and independent school in the Jackson, MS area.
Responsibilities:
- Teach writing and Spanish composition classes.
- Conduct research on teaching methods, materials, and language games that can be used in class.
- Monitor student progress by writing up reports and grading assessments.
- Teach students about Spanish culture, including festivals, traditional food, and dress, and social conventions.
- Organize events where students can showcase their Spanish language skills.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Spanish language, literature, or equivalent may be required.
- Proven written and verbal proficiency in Spanish.
- 2-3 years of previous teaching experience.
- No teaching license or credential is required.
- A desire to be involved in extra-curricular activities and the broader school community.
