This position is classified as “remote.” As a remote role, it allows employees to work full-time from their home. It may also require regular travel to Carnival headquarters in Miami, FL for in-office collaboration. Sourcing of candidates is primarily done in Carnival’s remote hubs of Orlando, Tampa, Atlanta, Houston, and Dallas. If the search is extended past those areas, candidates must be located in one of the following U.S. states: FL, GA, TX and NC

The Applications Specialist administers the Siebel application, understanding process flows, application rules, database structure. Responsibilities include identifying and creating cases for enhancements or defects, communicating requirements to programmers, writing test scripts, conducting UAT testing, and participating in deployments.
Essential Functions:
- Efficiently monitors and responds to the Siebel Support inbox. Identifies, documents, and resolves technical issues, including complex phone connectivity problems. Conducts investigations, manages CRM process flows, data conversion, and technical inquiries
- Supports User Acceptance Testing for monthly deployments by testing defects and enhancements and promoting cases to the production environment.
- Oversees administrative tasks for Contact Center database applications, including Siebel, Computer Telephony Integration (CTI), Eloqua, Webex Engage, Oracle Right Now, and Carnival Dash. Supports Siebel application by executing database transfers, initiating training transfers, and decommissioning database access upon separation or promotion.
- Supports Siebel training initiatives and presentations as needed.
- Associate’s degree in information technology, or a related field required
- A minimum of 1 year of experience in application process flows or a similar position
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams) and other relevant technologies essential for this role
- Experience with SQL, SAS, Siebel CRM
- Industry Knowledge: Basic knowledge and understanding of the fundamental concepts, processes, trends and terminology related to database analysis.
- Analytical and Problem-Solving: Good business judgment, troubleshooting, analysis, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
- Communication: Good verbal and written communication skills for engaging with stakeholders and explaining concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Prioritization: Ability to identify, prioritize, and articulate initiatives.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Ability to work independently and with diverse teams to build consensus and achieve common goals. Compliance and Legal: Comprehensive understanding of company policies and procedures, relevant laws, regulations, and compliance requirements.
