The Analyst, Global Gaming Marketing & HR Operations provides key insights into the profitability and effectiveness of various marketing efforts, as well as key analysis on human resources programs by creating analytical dashboards, models, and presentations. This role supports multiple teams within the marketing department, including group events, promotions and incentives, guest insights, and partnership acquisition. In addition, the role supports HR operations, including team member engagement insights, recruitment, and retention efforts. Responsibilities include the ownership of long-term initiatives as well as quick-turnaround ad-hoc requests, including guest research analysis, business and marketing analysis. This role is supported through the guidance of the Director of Guest Insights and Director of Human Resources Operations along with other data analysts in Global Gaming guest insights, with business knowledge provided by the Casino Marketing team. Strong SQL skills with demonstrable experience are required for this position as well as previous experience with analytic projects.
Job Functions:
Travel: Less than 25% with shipboard travel likely
Work Conditions: Work primarily in a climate-controlled environment with minimal safety/health hazard potential.
This position is classified as “in-office.” As an in-office role, it requires employees to work from a designated Carnival office in South Florida Tuesday through Thursday each week. Employees may work from their homes on Mondays and Fridays. Candidates must be located in (or willing to relocate to) the Miami/Ft. Lauderdale area.

Job Functions:
- Marketing Analysis: Conduct in-depth analysis of marketing programs, including group events, promotions, and incentives, to provide actionable insights and recommendations.
- HR Operations Analysis: Analyze HR operations programs, team member engagement insights, recruitment, and retention efforts, to evaluate effectiveness and efficiency.
- Dashboard and Model Creation: Develop and maintain analytical dashboards and models to support decision-making processes within the marketing and HR teams
- Ad-hoc Requests: Handle quick-turnaround ad-hoc requests, including guest research analysis and business analysis.
- Data Integration and Enhancement: Partner with other stakeholders to grow and improve the quality of data available to inform marketing and HR decisions.
- Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., Marketing, Business, Data Science, Human Resources).
- Strong SQL skills with demonstrable experience.
- Previous experience in analytic projects.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and think creatively.
- 1 years of experience in data analysis within marketing and/or HR operations.
- Proven track record of developing and maintaining analytical dashboards and models.
- Experience handling ad-hoc requests and providing actionable insights.
