As an Inventory Auditor at Carnivore Snax, you will play a crucial role in auditing physical inventory counts, identifying variances, and supporting continuous improvement across our warehousing and distribution process. You will be responsible for ensuring that our products are in the right place, at the right time, and in the right quantity. In this role, you will collaborate closely with warehouse operations and quality control to maintain the highest standards of accuracy and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct daily and weekly cycle counts, spot checks, and full physical inventory audits with precision and consistency.- Analyze discrepancies and investigate root causes, escalating recurring issues to leadership for resolution.
- Hold areas in accordance with internal standards.
- Work closely with warehouse leadership to schedule audit routines and implement corrective actions.
- Document and deliver detailed inventory reports using Excel and warehouse management systems (WMS).
- Safely and efficiently operate powered industrial equipment such as forklifts, standups, and walkie-riders.
- Maintain cleanliness, organization, and safety in inventory areas, ensuring compliance with OSHA and company standards.
- Track and report audit trends to drive process improvements and enhance inventory accuracy.
- Keep up-to-date logs and records for internal reviews and external audits.
- Support team cross-training, inventory projects, and other warehouse duties as needed.
What You Bring:
High school diploma or GED required; associate degree or technical training in logistics/supply chain preferred.- 1–5 years of experience in inventory control, auditing, or warehouse operations within a manufacturing, logistics, or food production environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and WMS platforms, with experience using RF scanners and inventory software.
- Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and a commitment to data accuracy.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across departments and communicate findings effectively.
- Proactive and independent work ethic, with a strong sense of accountability.
- Comfort working in a fast-paced environment and adapting to changing priorities.
Physical & Work Requirements:
Ability to lift and move up to 50 lbs unassisted.- Regular walking, standing, bending, and reaching; occasional kneeling or squatting.
- Must be able to operate powered industrial equipment (certification and training provided if needed).
- Availability for moderate overtime and weekend shifts as required by business demands.
- Willingness to spend 70–80% of work time on the warehouse floor.
- This position requires performing duties in environments with varied temperatures, including walk-in coolers and freezers.
