Position Summary
CHS's client is seeking a detail-oriented, proactive individual to support order management, customer service, purchasing, and related administrative functions. This role requires effective communication, multitasking in a fast-paced environment, and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and external partners.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and manage incoming email inquiries, POs, RFQs, and e-shop orders, distributing and logging them appropriately.
- Maintain accurate records and update logs for order entries, backlog reviews, and available stock.
- Communicate with customers professionally via phone, email, and fax.
- Process purchase orders, and quotations as needed.
- Collaborate with vendors to manage purchasing, resolve invoice discrepancies, expedite past-due orders, and maintain inventory levels.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent; Associate’s degree in business, marketing, or engineering preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 1 year in a related field or 3 years in order management/customer service. Prior purchasing experience is a plus.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in MS Office; familiarity with SAP, M2M, or other ERP systems is advantageous.
- Organization: Strong multitasking and organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
Preferred Knowledge
- General understanding of manufacturing and financial principles.
