As a Garden Center Specialist, it is essential that you be available, flexible, adaptable and service-oriented, and you must be able to work weekends.
General Summary
The Garden Center Associate is a full time or part time position responsible for plant care and maintenance while providing excellent customer service as a representative of Carolina Ace Hardware.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities

Store Operations
- Assist with receiving, checking in and stocking of merchandise in Garden Center and throughout the store. Assist with daily maintenance, orderliness and cleanliness of the Garden Center.
- Participate in store meetings (bi-monthly)
- Customer Service with a positive attitude
- Maintain plants (watering, fertilizing as needed, dead-heading)
Proactively assist customers in solving problems.
Greet customers entering and throughout the store. Thank customers when finished and when they are leaving the store.
Possess a friendly outgoing demeanor; work well with customers as well as associates.
Experience
Plant knowledge preferred but not required. Positive attitude required.
Physical Demands
Standing, walking, lifting (up to 25lbs).
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: From $12.00 per hour
Expected hours: 24 – 32 per week
