Shift : Nights- 5pm-5am with rotating days and weekends (2-2-3) schedule

Summary : A wastewater operator works in a wastewater treatment plant running the equipment, monitoring the plant and maintaining the equipment. Wastewater operators are in charge of making sure the process of cleaning the waters is effective and they make sure that government guidelines are followed.
Responsibilities
- Operate and interpret results for pH, dissolved oxygen, turbidity and spectrographic analytical equipment, sampling instruments, and flow instruments and detect equipment malfunctions
- Maintain and perform basic maintenance on pumps, motors, aerators, air compressors, pneumatic auxiliaries, hydraulically driven equipment, belt and chain drive systems, digital and analog controllers and sensors, irrigation, plumbing, and electrical components
- Supports product safety, quality and legality
- Supports and complies with GMP's
- Collects samples and makes process reports
- Other duties as assigned
