Our Opportunity: Data Entry

Status: Full Time Day Shift

Hours: 8-hour shift – 8a-4p

Schedule: Monday - Friday

Compensation: $22.00 - $24.00 per hour depending on experience

Summary

Verifies and updates customer orders and requests for delivery and shipments in our company’s inventory system. Input all data provided by all correlating shipping and receiving documents by performing the following duties.

What You Will Be Doing

• Inputs data into inventory system by using various template orders provided by the customer.
• Creates sales orders by warehouse based on inventory levels and FEFO requires by researching SKUs and availability.
• Completing reports as needed per customer requirements and requests.
• Assist in all data entry required for supervisor reporting and employee metrics.
• Reply to broker and/or agents by email of the appointment scheduled on our calendar with arrival dates and times.
• Check in all inbound and outbound deliveries with the pick-up numbers provided by the drivers and obtain information from drivers to complete the Trailer Inspection Form, print Bill of Ladings, and Pick Sheets to release the product as needed.
• Other duties as assigned or required.
• Adhere to and comply with Good Manufacturing Practices as outlined in Employee Handbook.
• Adhere to and comply with quality production and Food Safety.

What You Need to Bring

Minimum Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 1 years of experience in a production & warehousing environment

• Knowledge working in Outlook, Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, and use of customer portals
• Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records
• Regular use of computer, writing, and filing records

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with SAP or other inventory management systems
• Experience with GMP and/or HACCP regulations

Job Setting

This role is based in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Employees will experience varying physical demands throughout the day, including standing for extended periods and walking on occasionally slippery floors. Primarily works in office setting, may spend time in the production/warehouse environment.

Due to the nature of the facility, temperatures may fluctuate based on outside weather conditions including heat and cold.

The work environment can be loud, and hearing protection (ear plugs) is required. Additionally, to ensure safety and hygiene, employees must wear hairnets and refrain from wearing jewelry while on the production floor.

Alcohol is an ingredient in products we produce. We are unable to guarantee specific positions, work schedules or work environments that do not include working around alcohol.

Physical Requirements

• Lift and/or move up to 100 pounds occasionally
• Lift and/or move up to 50 pounds frequently
• Vision required: distance, close, color, peripheral and depth perception
• Frequently required to stand, talk or hear, use hands feel and reach with hands and arms.
• Occasionally required to sit, walk, climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch and crawl.
• Regular standing and sitting for extended periods of time
