Our Opportunity: Front Office Supervisor

Status: Full Time Day Shift [or Full Time Night Shift]

Hours: 8-hour shift: 8am - 4pm

Schedule: Monday – Friday

Compensation: $26.00 - $28.00 per hour depending on experience

Summary

This position is responsible for providing leadership to the Distribution Clerks and Inventory management while ensuring the most efficient and timely response to incoming and outgoing shipments to expedite removal of product from distribution centers. Assist Warehouse Manager on special projects as needed.

What You Will Be Doing

• Work with employees on a daily basis to solve problems and create opportunities for success including documenting SOP’s and/or Best Practices.
• Assign distribution clerks to shifts that cover 24 hour work days.
• Create and enforce staff schedule to specific duties, such as data entry, driver check-in, and load scheduling. Responsible for ensuring all data entry and verification is completed no later than 24 hours prior to appointment times.
• Coordinates regular inventory counts as required by customers and company. Assists in customer requests and discrepancies.
• Assist in set up and control of FIFO Inventory System to ensure uninterrupted flow of product and materials to the various departments of the company as requested.
• Monitor/Review/Coach implementation of daily productivity improvements to ensure corporate goals are met and ensure policies are being followed.
• Conduct training of distribution clerks including inventory control procedures.
• Recommend personnel actions, such as hiring, performance evaluations, promotions, and disciplinary measures to department head including staying current on employee reviews.
• Performs all other duties as assigned or required by the manager/customer.
• Adhere to and comply with Good Manufacturing Practices as outlined in Employee Handbook.
• Adhere to and comply with quality production and Food Safety.

What You Need to Bring

Minimum Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 1 years of experience Warehouse & Manufacturing environment

• Knowledge working in Outlook, Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, and use of customer portals
• Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records
• Regular use of computer, writing, and filing records

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with SAP or other inventory management systems
• Experience with GMP and/or HACCP regulations
• 1-2 years’ experience in transportation/warehouse environment.

Job Setting

This role is based in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Employees will experience varying physical demands throughout the day, including standing for extended periods and walking on occasionally slippery floors. Primarily works in office setting, may spend time in the production/warehouse environment.

Due to the nature of the facility, temperatures may fluctuate based on outside weather conditions including heat and cold.

The work environment can be loud, and hearing protection (ear plugs) is required. Additionally, to ensure safety and hygiene, employees must wear hairnets and refrain from wearing jewelry while on the production floor.

Alcohol is an ingredient in products we produce. We are unable to guarantee specific positions, work schedules or work environments that do not include working around alcohol.

Physical Requirements

• Regular standing and sitting for extended periods of time
• Vision required: distance, close, color, peripheral and depth perception
• Frequently required to stand, talk or hear, use hands feel and reach with hands and arms.
• Occasionally required to sit, walk, climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch and crawl.
• Will work around noise, dust, variable temperatures and use of production chemicals
