Our Opportunity : HR Assistant
Status : Full Time Day Shift
Hours : 8-hour shift - 8am-4 : 30pm, etc.
Schedule : M-F shifts
Compensation : $20.00 - $22.00 per hour depending on experience
Summary
The HR Assistant role is responsible for assisting the Human Resources team with a variety of HR-related duties, including but not limited to; recruitment, employee record maintenance / data entry, filing / documentation and special projects as required.
What You Will Be Doing
- Filing of Human Resources related files and records - paper and / or electronically.
- Assist internal and external applicants with the online or paper application when needed.
- Prepare and / or process documentation such as new hire documents, termination's, etc.
- Assist in a variety of tasks including recruitment efforts, posting jobs, contacting candidates, scheduling interviews, and completing phone screenings.
- Assist with the onboarding process when needed.
- Assist with and be backup for Orientation
- Track and maintain spreadsheets.
- Point of contact for Alchemy.
- Input of employee related information accurately and timely into HRIS system when needed.
- Answer employee questions and address employee concerns or inquiries
- Temporary labor invoice review, tracking and approval.
- Other duties may be assigned.

Job Setting
This role is based in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Employees will experience varying physical demands throughout the day and walking on occasionally slippery floors.
Due to the nature of the facility, temperatures may fluctuate based on outside weather conditions including heat and cold.
The work environment can be loud, and hearing protection (ear plugs) is required. Additionally, to ensure safety and hygiene, employees must wear hairnets and refrain from wearing jewelry while on the production floor.
Alcohol is an ingredient in products we produce. We are unable to guarantee specific positions, work schedules or work environments that do not include working around alcohol.
