What are the responsibilities and job description for the Variety Pack Inventory Analyst position at Carolina Beverage?
Position Summary :
Reporting to the VP Manager, the Inventory specialist support variety pack production, while maintaining vp inventory integrity.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following :
- Compile production reports to verify completed VP production and send to the customer.
- Work closely with inventory / accounting to solve VP invoicing discrepancies.
- Communicate with customers often to discuss product shortages, schedule changes, inbound product for production.
- Frequent inter-departmental communication with warehousing, Repack, production, inventory, accounting, shipping / receiving, and planning.
- Compile's list of production schedule dates for product that will be needed in VP production.
- VP MO cleanup / verification. Follow MO closure process and communicate with accounting once complete for invoicing.
- Regular cycle counts, and inventory management. Keep up accurate inventory in Repack areas, VP subs, finished VP, and all relevant packaging materials.
- Act as backup Repack supervisor. Ability to step in and guideline operators and leads on daily goals when supervisor is absent.
- Ensure FL and machine operators are scanning and using correct materials for the product they are running.
- Investigate and correct inventory discrepancies
- Counts material, equipment, merchandise or supplies in stock and posts total to inventory records (manually or using computer)
- Compares inventories to office records or computes figures from records, such as sales orders, production records, or purchase invoices to obtain current inventory
- Verifies clerical computations against physical count of stock and adjusts errors in computation or count, or investigates and reports reasons for discrepancies
- Prepares reports, such as inventory balance, price lists, and shortages
- Other duties may be assigned
