Our Opportunity: Rework Lead
Status: Full Time Day Shift [or Full Time Night Shift]
Hours: 8-hour shift – 8am – 4pm
Schedule: Monday – Friday shifts
Compensation: $23.00 - $24.50 per hour depending on experience
Summary
This position is responsible for assisting in supervision of all partial and rework areas within the warehouses. The Rework Lead assists the according Warehouse Supervisors in maintaining proper inventory control of partials while also responsible for all aspects of finished product packaged that includes improvement and quality initiates, in an effort to achieve optimum production efficiency and production goals, while maintaining the quality and integrity of food safety, handling, and sanitation. Assist the Warehouse Supervisor and Manager on special projects as needed as well as lead rework personnel deemed for the warehouse department.
What You Will Be Doing
- Rotate throughout the warehouses to ensure all partials and rework are completed timely and efficiently based off Company standards.
- Working with employees daily to solve problems and create opportunities for success and train employees are partial process within the ERP system
- Help identify route cause of leakers and damages that are reported, engaging the Quality department when deemed manufacturing route cause
- Proficiency use ERP systems when reporting, this includes documentation of who, what, when
- Lead and assist in large rework scenarios keep staff on task to ensure the project is completed accurately and efficiently.
- Models load and paperwork handling best practices.

- Ensures timely reporting to management of all incidents that would impact food safety and personnel safety.
- Serves as a liaison between DC staff teams to facilitate streamlined communication and minimize load delays.
- Drives process improvement initiatives aimed at gaining efficiencies throughout the DCs in regard to rework.
- Create SOPs as needed to ensure consistent methods used by all Fork Lift Operators.
- Performs all other duties as assigned or required by the supervisor/customer.
- Adhere to and comply with Good Manufacturing Practices as outlined in Employee Handbook.
- Adhere to and comply with quality production and Food Safety.
What You Need to Bring
Minimum Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1 years of experience in a manufacturing environment
- Ability to read and interpret in English.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records with math and science skills
- 1-3 years Warehouse/Forklift experience
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with SAP or other inventory management systems
- Experience with GMP and/or HACCP regulations
- Forklift certification
Job Setting
This role is based in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Employees will experience varying physical demands throughout the day, including standing for extended periods, walking on occasionally slippery floors, and handling equipment or materials.
Due to the nature of the facility, temperatures may fluctuate based on outside weather conditions including heat and cold.
The work environment can be loud, and hearing protection (ear plugs) is required. Additionally, to ensure safety and hygiene, employees must wear hairnets and refrain from wearing jewelry while on the production floor.
Alcohol is an ingredient in products we produce. We are unable to guarantee specific positions, work schedules or work environments that do not include working around alcohol.
Physical Requirements
- Lift and/or move up to 50 pounds frequently
- This position is required to operate a sit down forklift.
- Periodic standing on hard surfaces.
- Vision required: distance, close, color, peripheral and depth perception
- Frequently required to stand, talk or hear, use hands to finger, feel and reach with hands and arms.
- Occasionally required to sit, walk, climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch and crawl.
- Works in a production and warehouse environment, including forklifts, equipment, and damp floors
- Frequently exposed to working near mechanical parts and exposed to vibration.
