Summary
As the Warehouse Supervisor, you’ll oversee all warehouse operations, ensuring smooth inbound/outbound shipping, inventory accuracy, product rework, and more. You’ll mentor and coach forklift operators, office staff, and warehouse leads while coordinating special requests and projects.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following.
- Supervision and Safety of Employees (including enforcing policies)
- Operate a forklift safely and efficiently to load & unload trucks
- Accurate stock rotation
- Documentation of damaged products
- Create Bill of Ladings
- Researching and/or correcting discrepancies on bills of lading or transfer sheets
- Attention to detail concerning lot codes, item numbers, and descriptions
- Cycle counts of product
- Rework of damaged product and cleanliness of equipment/warehouse floor
- Quality assurance of all products
- Computer literacy is required
- WMS/SAP experience preferred
- Process inbound/outbound loads through warehouse management system
- Tag/count finished goods & material
- Create/send daily shift reports
- Coach and mentor employee’s reporting to this position
- Oversee and assist dock coordinators and other shipping office staff
- Other duties as assigned
Position Requirements
- High School Diploma (Associate’s Degree preferred)
- 3 years of warehouse/inventory management experience
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint)
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and maintain attention to detail
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Problem-solving ability and process improvement mindset
- Formal inventory management or certification is a plus
