## Overview
We are seeking a friendly and organized Host/Hostess to join our team. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills and a passion for providing exceptional guest services in a restaurant setting.
## Responsibilities
- Greet guests as they arrive and seat them accordingly
- Assist in helping guests with any inquiries or special requests
- Manage reservations and walk-in guests efficiently
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host stand and lobby area
- Answer phones with proper etiquette and take reservations or messages
- Collaborate with servers, bussers, and management to ensure smooth guest service
- Handle guest relations with professionalism and hospitality
## Qualifications
- Previous experience in a customer-facing role, preferably in food service or hospitality
- Strong communication skills and the ability to interact with guests in a positive manner
- Proficiency in using Point of Sale (POS) systems is a plus
- Excellent phone etiquette and the ability to handle high call volumes effectively
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- A friendly and outgoing personality with a focus on delivering top-notch customer service
