Summary

Under the supervision of Sales Operations and in coordination with the Regional Sales Support Managers and their staff, this position will be responsible for completion of all sale and leasing documentation coordination for new and used equipment and responsible for marketing of financial merchandising tools.

Essential Functions

• Prepare customer financing options
• Approve demos for finance and credit worthiness
• Verify credit information via Red Flag guidelines
• Verify leasing options –CAT and other vendors
• Conduct assessments of competitive finance proposals and recommend areas where we should recalibrate our offers accordingly
• Compare finance rates from various sources to ensure the best available rates are applied to each deal for the benefit of the customer and the company and note trends for sales team on lender strengths relative to product offerings
• Calculate interest rate buy down
• Verify Free and Clear status of all trade in machines through UCC purchases
• Verify tax exempt status of customers
• Verify SC delivery location and documentation
• Allocate received funds to the appropriate account
• Initiate wire transfers to payoff trade ins
• Provide guidance to cash applications on incoming wires that are not identifiable
• Check sales quote and RPO calculators for accuracy
• Apply CAT merchandising subsidy programs where applicable and assist sales team
• Responsible for maintaining an accurate and current training curriculum in financial merchandising for the sales team
• Assist salesmen with Leasing Source or other finance quoting issues
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Education and/or Experience

• Bachelor’s degree or higher plus three to five years’ related experience and/or training
• Cash and credit handling experience
• Customer service focus with the ability to stay positive in interactions with customers and team members
• Experience offering products and services
• Experience working in a fast-paced environment
• Good communication skills including speaking clearly, succinctly, and accurately while using a pleasant tone and common conversational courtesies
• Ability to meet or exceed performance objectives

Computer Skills

• Strong Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint)
• SAP strongly preferred
• Ability to navigate multiple computer systems, applications, and utilize search tools to find information
