Since 2007, Carolina Comfort Air Inc, specializes in HVAC service, installation & maintenance for single family and multifamily homes as well as commercial applications. Due to our growth, we are looking for a Purchasing Assistant to aide in equipment and material ordering as well as daily data entry in multiple Excel forms. The successful candidate will have great attention to detail, thrive in a fast-paced environment, possess effective oral and written communication skills, and have the ability to multi-task in a team setting. The position requires proficiency with Microsoft Outlook and Excel, QuickBooks experience is helpful but not required.
Location: Clayton, NC
Position: Purchasing Assistant
Reports to: Purchasing Manager
Shift: Monday-Friday , 8 am- 5 pm
Responsibilities:
• Assist with equipment, materials, and supply ordering accurately and efficiently in a quick-response, high-volume setting.
• Aide in interdepartmental material tracking and costing for install jobs
• Maintain purchase order status and shipment tracking information and updating all necessary individuals
• Communicate with vendors and CCA employees as needed to address issues
• Aide in completion of monthly inventory valuation for all departments
• Aide in tracking of transfers between locations and departments
• Any other data entry needs for Carolina Comfort Air
• All other duties assigned
Requirements:
• High School diploma or equivalent required
• Ability to Work Independently is a Must
• Must be proficient at Excel
• Background check required
