Responsible for managing, coordinating and implementing high quality, comprehensive energy conservation programs and services in accord with agency objectives in Chester, Fairfield, Lancaster, Union, and York counties. Responsible for providing leadership and support to a team of trained energy professionals for effective service delivery.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Serves as receptionist for the Weatherization department and provide excellent customer support and service in an office setting
- Assist with various clerical tasks such as filing, data entry, report writing, and organizing documents
- Visit dwellings and conduct pre-inspection of homes
- Meet with subcontractors and Coordinator to review final invoice
- Handle order entry and processing, ensuring accuracy and timeliness using NEAT/MHEA software
- Utilize Microsoft Suite or other office software for administrative tasks
SKILLS:
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
- Excellent customer service, communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficient in using office equipment such as computers, printers, and scanners
- Familiarity with nonprofit procedures and terminology is a plus
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
- Knowledge of clerical procedures and systems
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS (must possess):
- Associate's degree (A. A.) in Secretarial Science or related field with at least two years’ administrative assistant experience, or High School Diploma with four years’ administrative assistant experience
- Valid South Carolina Driver's License
- Clean driving record (no/minimal infractions within past 5 years)
- OSHA Certification a plus
- Certifications relevant to Weatherization work a plus
