Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Field Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional technical support and services to our clients in the field and in the office. You will work closely with various IT infrastructures, ensuring that all systems operate efficiently and effectively. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical skills, excellent customer service abilities, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and maintain computer hardware and software systems on-site.
- Provide desktop support for end-users, addressing technical issues related to Windows operating systems.
- Manage IT infrastructure components including routers, switches, and firewalls.
- Implement Group Policy Objects (GPO) to enhance security and manage user settings.
- Troubleshoot network connectivity issues using TCP/IP protocols.
- Assist clients with Meraki equipment setup and management.
- Deliver outstanding customer service by effectively communicating technical information to non-technical users.
- Document all service requests and resolutions in the ticketing system for future reference.
Experience
- Proficiency in Windows operating systems and desktop support is essential.
- Familiarity with IT infrastructure components such as firewalls, routers, and switches.
- Experience with computer hardware troubleshooting and repair.
- Strong understanding of TCP/IP networking principles.
- Previous experience in customer service roles is highly desirable.
- Ability to work independently in the field while maintaining a high level of professionalism.
- Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with clients and team members.
