The CNC Operator at Carolina Core Machine assumes responsibility for the setup and operation of computer numerically controlled (CNC) lathe/mill machines, working closely under the guidance of the Shop Manager or assigned Project Leaders. This is a high repetition job, with the sole priority of producing identical parts for high-volume orders with consistency and accuracy. This role is great for someone who enjoys a high level of repeat work. The ideal candidate will assist with reaching company goals with a strong work ethic and teamwork.
KEY RESULT AREAS
- Set up and operate CNC lathe/mill machines according to specifications provided by the Shop Manager or Project Leaders.
- Execute machining processes efficiently to ensure timely completion of orders while maintaining quality standards.
- Conduct routine maintenance and inspections on CNC machinery to ensure optimal performance.
- Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Accurately document all machining and programming activities, including any adjustments or modifications made during production.
- Adhere quality and productivity standards.
- Communicate and collaborate with team members to accomplish company goals.
- Ensure tasks are completed in a timely manner at the highest possible quality.
- Driven to continuously learn and develop skills.
- Maintenance of machines as needed.
- Other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
- High School Diploma (Required)
- Associate degree, Diploma or Certificate in CNC from a trade school is a plus but is not required.
- Work experience in any technical trade.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
- Ability to stand for hours at a time
- Must be able to lift 30 pounds at times.
LOCATION
Carolina Core Machine is located in Reidsville, NC 27320. Reasonable commute or planning to relocate before starting work is required.
