The position offers a balanced work environment, with 2-3 days spent servicing vehicles and equipment in the field and the remainder of the time in our well-equipped shop. - Perform routine vehicle maintenance and repairs, including oil changes, brake services, and tire rotations.
- Diagnose mechanical issues using schematics and diagnostic tools.
- Conduct diesel and small engine repairs as needed.
- Utilize hand tools and specialized equipment to perform repairs efficiently.
- Communicate effectively with the manager regarding vehicle issues and repair recommendations.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace to ensure safety and efficiency.
- Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in automotive technology.
- Proven experience as a Mechanic.
- Strong knowledge of vehicle maintenance practices and repair techniques.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain technical information clearly.
- Proficient in reading schematics and technical manuals.
- Ability to weld and perform structural repairs as necessary.
- Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Must provide your own tools.
