He / she must be of strong moral character and integrity.Position ObjectiveThe Guest Relations Specialist - Registration and Coordination will work with the Director of Guest Relations and Partnerships to lead the process of coordinating and registering groups all year for Carolina Creek. He / she will be an expert on the camper registration software, and will be able to assist all callers with any questions that arise. He / she will be able to deal with parents and group leaders, answering phones in a professional manner. He / she will have general knowledge of the camp program, and will be able to direct calls to the right person. He / she will be responsible to model a genuine lifestyle of Christian discipleship in a manner consistent with CCCC's mission, vision, and values.Job TypeFull-Time ExemptKey Job AccountabilitiesResponsible for the process of registering campers for all of our programs including summer camp and other year-round and programmed retreatsAssist for booking retreat sales including calling groups, answering inquiries, and completing contractsAssist with Accounting in the processing of payments for all groupsBe an expert in the registration software, and helping parents and campers successfully navigate the registration processAnswering questions from parents, campers, and group leaders in a professional mannerAssist in answering phone calls and directing question to the right person in the organizationAssist the Guest Relations department in creating SOPs relevant to the departmentStrong self-initiative to serve others and customersLead tours of camp and the programs we offer to perspective groupsAttend all required staff meetings and eventsActively participate in and contribute to the broader camp programs of CCCCActively engage and participate in the staff community through a godly attitude, words and actionsAbility to work with other departments in handing off guest and camper detailsSupervisory ResponsibilitiesReports to Director of Guest Relations and PartnershipsQualificationsEducation / Certifications / LicensesMust have a current valid driver's licenseMust have a high school diploma, GED, or equivalentBachelor's degree preferred, but not requiredWork ExperiencePrevious Camping experience preferred Previous Customer Service experience preferredPrevious Sales experience preferredPrevious Customer Management Software and Systems Leadership preferredKnowledge, Skills and AbilitiesMust possess strong communication skills with excellent telephone etiquetteMust be confidential and discreet when dealing with sensitive informationMust possess strong computer skills and an understanding of Google Drive and proficiency on the Microsoft Suite of software applicationsMust possess strong interpersonal relations skillsMust be able to remain calm under stress and deal with conflict in a professional and courteous mannerMust have excellent written communication skills for corresponding with pastors and parentsWork independently, being able to be a self-starterMust be organized and detail orientedMust possess emotional and spiritual maturityMust possess a developed sense of empathy Must be flexible with an ability to adjust and problem solve in challenging situationsAble to engage in active listeningA heart to serve wherever and whenever neededPhysical Demands : The physical environment requires the employee to work both inside and outside in hot and humid conditions.
