Key ResponsibilitiesAs an Estate and Trust Administration Legal Assistant, you'll:
- Work directly with clients to gather accurate information for estate administration.
- Draft correspondence and legal documents efficiently and with precision.
- Manage case timelines, ensuring tasks are on track and deadlines are met.
- Organize and maintain physical and digital files according to established procedures.
- Review incoming documents and emails, ensuring they are acknowledged and properly documented.
- Conduct client meetings, including signing appointments, with professionalism and care.
- Collaborate with team members to deliver the highest level of client service.
- Regularly meet with your Team Lead to discuss cases, address questions, and pursue learning opportunities.

- At least 1 year of client-facing experience in a law firm setting.
- A solid understanding of the probate process.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Proficiency with technology, including Zoom, Google Workspace, Microsoft Office, and legal practice management software (e.g., Actionstep, Clio, Smokeball).
- NC Notary Public certification or willingness to obtain certification.
- Familiarity with ActionStep or similar client management software is a plus.
