Utility Pipe Foreman

This position requires knowledge of how to manage a pipe crew to lay water/sewer utilities safely and efficiently.

It would require knowledge of trenches, equipment, pipe laser, transits, and levels.

Responsibilities would include planning, keeping material inventory, equipment and personnel management.

This position would require being on the pipe project every day and being responsible for that project.

It would require someone who can take responsibility for the entire project and not just look to point fingers at those that are helping them.

People skills would be needed because a large part of this position would be dealing with the people on their crew, the inspector and the owner of the project.

Summary

As a Utility Pipe Foreman, you will oversee the installation and maintenance of pipeline systems, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and project specifications. Reporting to the Project Manager, you will utilize your core skills in construction management and project scheduling to lead a team effectively. Your expertise in premium software like ProCore and Primavera P6 will enhance project efficiency, while your relevant skills in blueprint reading and quality control will ensure high standards are met. Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations and safety practices
• Experience in project scheduling and budgeting
• Proven supervisory experience in a construction environment
• Ability to read blueprints and schematics
• Competence in using pipe lasers and other relevant tools

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $50,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
