Scope of Work
As an Optometry Examiner, you will:
- Conduct eye exams and complete disability benefits questionnaires (DBQs) to assist the VA in processing veterans' disability claims.
- Perform evaluations for various eye conditions, including scar exams and visual field tests (VFT).
Qualifications
- Doctorate degree from a college or university accredited by the Accreditation Council on Optometric Education (ACOE) or completion of medical school with residency in ophthalmology.
- Active state license in good standing.
- Experience in diagnosing and managing eye-related health issues.
- Dedication to providing compassionate, high-quality care.
- Experience in performing VFT testing is preferred.
