Ultrasound Technologist with Dexa Scan Bone Density experience needed for busy medical practice in Myrtle Beach. Must have excellent computer and customer service skills. Hours are Monday through Thursday 7 : 45 am - 5 : 15 pm and Fridays 8 : 00 am - 12 : 00 pm. No nights or weekends! GENERAL SUMMARY OF DUTIES : Responsible for measuring bone mass to determine bone health for the purpose of diagnosing osteoporosis and other bone diseases, and performs imaging examinations using established procedures with a level of knowledge acquired through appropriate training.
EDUCATION : Graduate of an AMA approved School of Radiologic Technology
EXPERIENCE : Minimum two (2) years as a Radiology Technologist
REQUIREMENTS : Must have a current ARRT license (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists), CPR certification, and South Carolina licensure.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS :
- Must demonstrate current competencies applicable to job position.
- Must have a general understanding and working knowledge of radiation producing equipment.
- Maintain equipment and inventory and place medical supply orders as needed.

PHYSICAL / MENTAL DEMANDS : Varied activities including sitting, walking, stooping, lifting, bending, reaching. Must be able to exert up to 50 pounds of force occasionally and to lift 100 pounds. Occasional stress from workload.
