What are the responsibilities and job description for the Commissary Supervisor position at Carolina Hurricanes?
Responsible for receiving, storing and issuing of all products used in the concession/commissary department. Responsible for the transporting of requisitioned items from the commissary department to the correct locations.

Major Areas of Responsibility
- Accomplish the delivery of goods to Concessions and Break areas in an efficient manner
- Receive and unload merchandise delivered to the commissary and ensure all products are stored, rotated and dated in accordance with established health practices
- Supervise all part-time and full-time staff in their daily and event duties
- Communicate with Commissary Manager on all schedules for Full-Time and Part-Time staff
- Supervise and participate to accomplish the cleaning of all commissary areas and concession stands
- Ensure that stands are properly serviced/stocked before, during and after events in a neat and orderly fashion.
- Ensure that all additional stock items are properly transferred and charged to appropriate locations using the POS system
- Responsible for completing month end inventory
- Responsible for the ordering of food & beverage products from approved vendors
- Participate in the training and development of all Commissary staff
- Promote communication and teamwork to create a productive work environment
- Required to perform other duties as needed
- High school diploma or its equivalent
- Minimum one year supervisory experience strongly preferred
- Ability to read English and have basic math and writing skills
- Ability to work irregular and long hours as needed, including nights, holidays and weekends
- Ability to lift and carry objects up to 75lbs; walk, reach, stand, bend, wipe and stoop for long periods of time
- Some prior food/beverage and/or warehouse experience strongly preferred
- Basic computer skills
- Must pass criminal background check
