Ice Rink Supervisor

Overview
Responsible for on-site supervision of staff and facilities to ensure that clean, safe and healthy facilities are available. Routine maintenance and janitorial functions of the facility while it is open to the public, is required. Responsible for driving/operating ice resurfacer. Reporting to the General Manager or Arena Manager, this position will work alone and with other positions as required by the facility activities schedule. Work schedule will include weekends, day/night shifts and most holidays. Weekly schedule may vary from week to week as to meet the needs of our patrons and to complete job responsibilities.

Duties

• Maintain and secure facility
• Hiring and training of new employees across various departments in coordination with the General/Arena Manager and Operations Personnel.
• Make and maintain ice surface and maintain arena facilities as needed.
• Driving ice resurfacer
• Monitor and reporting of chiller/compressor package
• Complete and maintain required logs.
• Employee task lists
• Opening/Closing checklists
• Ice depths and temperatures
• Create and update standard operating procedures across all departments with guidance by department heads and General Manager
• Ensure back of house facilities are cleaned on a regular basis.
• Keep front desk and offices tidy
• Responsible for ordering building supplies as deemed necessary by Operations Director
• Scheduling as determined by the General/Arena Manager.
• Schedule and assign staffing positions and provide support as needed
• Oversight of the on-site staff, including Facility Operators, F&B employees and Facility Support Staff.
• Demonstrate total commitment to outstanding customer service for both internal and external customers.
• Assess any facility issues and report them directly to Operations Director/General Manager
• Help manage and report concessions/birthday party inventory as needed
• Ad hoc responsibilities

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $45,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
