We are looking for an experienced RN Supervisor to work 12 hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM or 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, in our skilled nursing department. This RN position will be responsible for directing and evaluating all resident care given by the care team, ensuring staffing levels are appropriate during their shift and appropriate care and treatments are provided to residents. We offer a competitive benefit package and salary along with applicable shift differentials. Current NC RN License required along with CPR certification. Duties include:
- Oversee and supervise nursing staff in a healthcare setting- Ensure the delivery of high-quality patient care- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans- Monitor and assess patient conditions, including vital signs and symptoms- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians- Assist with medical procedures- Provide triage and emergency care as needed- Coordinate and communicate with patients, families, and healthcare team members
Qualifications:- Valid nursing license (RN or LPN)- Proven experience in a supervisory or leadership role in a healthcare setting- Ability to provide care for the elderly- Knowledge of ICD-10 coding system for accurate medical recordkeeping- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills- Ability to work well under pressure and make sound decisions in emergency situations
