RN Staff Development Coordinator - Part Time

We are seeking an experienced RN Staff Development Coordinator - Nurse to provide necessary educational and learning opportunities that will assist personnel in gaining knowledge, skills and attitudes necessary to perform assigned duties safely and effectively. Must have current NC RN license (or compact state) and AS in Nursing; BS in Nursing preferred. Previous experience in nursing staff development is also required. Knowledgeable in local and state sanitation regulations required. Must be competent in computer operation.
The RN Staff Development Coordinator is primarily responsible for providing educational services to all Fairways (Assisted Living) staff and for compliance and reporting responsibilities.
Must be a Registered Nurse (RN) with current credentials. Must possess CPR and Certified Medication Aide training credentials. BA/BS degree in a healthcare related discipline or equivalent combination of education and experience required. Previous training experience with emphasis in healthcare compliance preferred. Skills include excellent verbal and written communications to include presentation skills. Must have knowledge of local and state infection control measures. Must be competent in computer operation. MatrixCare experience a plus. Must be able to work with all shifts of staff at least once a month.
